• A server-generated timestamp (date and time of the cooking session)

The anonymous data collected is used solely to understand general usage patterns of the app, such as how many eggs are being cooked and what consistency levels are most popular. This helps us improve the app over time. The data is never used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared with anyone.
Anonymous usage data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a service operated by Google LLC. The database is located in Europe (Frankfurt, Germany). Your personal settings, favorite egg configurations, and cooking history are stored only locally on your device and are never transmitted.

The core functionality of Eggspert Timer works entirely offline. An internet connection is only used to send anonymous cooking statistics to Firebase when a session is completed. If no internet connection is available, the data is not sent and no data is queued for later transmission.
Eggspert Timer does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The data that is collected is fully anonymous and contains no personally identifiable information.
Because the collected data is completely anonymous and contains no identifiers, it is not possible to locate, retrieve, or delete data associated with any specific individual. There is no data linked to you personally.
If the app's functionality changes in a way that affects privacy or data handling, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect any changes.
