This Privacy Policy describes how Fyno ("the App"), developed by Philipp Schaber ("I", "me", or "the Developer"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. As an individual developer based in Austria, I am committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable international laws.

Fyno uses third-party services that collect data to provide essential app functions.
A. Authentication (Firebase)
To allow you to create an account and log in securely, Fyno uses Google Firebase Authentication.
Data Collected: Email address, password (encrypted), and a unique User ID (UID).
Purpose: To manage your account and identify you across devices.
B. Subscriptions and Purchases (RevenueCat)
To manage premium features and subscriptions, Fyno uses RevenueCat.
Data Collected: Transaction identifiers, purchase history, and anonymous app user IDs.
Purpose: To validate your subscription status and ensure you have access to paid features. RevenueCat does notsee your credit card details; those are handled exclusively by Apple.
C. Diagnostics and Analytics
We may collect basic diagnostic data (e.g., crash logs) through Firebase to improve app stability. This data is usually pseudonymized.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), I process your data based on the following:
Performance of a Contract: Processing your email and purchase history is necessary to provide the services you signed up for (Login and Subscriptions).
Legitimate Interests: Improving app performance and security.
I retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to provide you with the App's services. If you delete your account, your data (Email, UID) will be deleted from Firebase within [e.g., 30 days].
Your data is shared with the following processors to enable app functionality:
Google (Firebase): Infrastructure and Authentication. Google Privacy Policy
RevenueCat: Subscription management. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Apple: Payment processing. Apple Pay & Privacy.
Since Fyno is distributed worldwide and uses services like Firebase (Google), your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of the EEA (such as the United States). These services maintain high security standards and utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure data protection.
You have the following rights regarding your data:
Right to Access: You can request a copy of the data I have on you.
Right to Rectification: You can request that I correct any inaccurate data.
Right to Erasure: You can request that I delete your account and associated data.
Right to Object: You can object to the processing of your data for analytics.

Fyno is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain EU jurisdictions). I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
