Terms of Service

Welcome to Zug. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zug mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Manuel Nöbauer (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using Zug, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Zug provides train travel information, trip tracking, alerts, and related features for informational purposes only.

You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it using methods other than the interface we provide.

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

We aim to provide accurate and timely information, but train times, delays, platforms, disruptions, and predictions may change at any time and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.

Zug is provided for convenience only. You remain responsible for checking official operator information and making your own travel decisions.

3. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Zug may require a paid subscription (“Zug Pro”).

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription through Apple:

- payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase;

- the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;

- your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;

- you can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.

Any free trial, if offered, will automatically convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as permitted by law;

- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where legally allowed;

- use the Service to harm, disrupt, overload, or impair the platform or other users;

- use automated means to access the Service in an abusive or unauthorized way.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, text, graphics, software, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Service.

7. Third-Party Data and Services

Zug may rely on third-party data providers, transport operators, mapping services, and platform services. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or data accuracy.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service, users, or our business.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available, or that any predictions, alerts, or travel information will be correct.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

By continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY], excluding conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
